BCC at The 2024 CEW Visionary Awards

During the Spring of 2024, CEW returned to the West Coast at the 2024 Visionary Awards hosted at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. This year’s Visionary Awards honored female entrepreneurs with strategic and creative visions who have demonstrated success and leadership in the beauty industry. The Visionaries honored were from five categories: Representation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Impact, Breaking Barriers, Community & Social Impact, and Innovation & Leadership. They shared their personal and professional stories that led them to create disruptive brands and offered advice for the future leaders of the beauty industry.

BCC Members spent the afternoon helping the CEW crew set up for the event and putting together gift bags for attendees. Featured products came from Tower 28, Merit, Briogeo, Nécessaire, Raw Sugar Living, Black Girl Sunscreen, and many more.

Throughout the event, BCC members checked attendees in, guided them to respective areas, helped sponsors manage their pop-ups, and were given the opportunity to hear the keynote and honorees deliver their speeches. BCC is so grateful to have the opportunity to dive deeper into the internal functions that make beauty events special for their guests.
